Beautiful design for an indoor worm composter and it doubles as a stool! No one will know unless you tell them. Great for the kids to see the worm at work. Great design to tuck in the corner of a small apartment kitchen, or at the kitchen table!. ***We don't own one of these, but I wanted to suggest an alternative for city dwellers.

I use a soap dispenser such as this one filled with liquid castile soap or a homemade liquid soap. It eliminates clutter at the sink and dispenses just the right amount of soap.

We used this composting system before our city put in place a curbside pickup. These composters are compact and efficient. They can be placed virtually anywhere: they do not smell! This design is especially aesthetically pleasing so apartment dwellers can use it indoors. Worm composters are the best: Worms (also available in the store) transform your scraps into a soil amendment and the spigot at the bottom delivers worm tea, which you can dilute with water and feed to your plants. Your plants become so beautiful, your friends will think you have a green thumb :-)

I bought a couple of these empty sand bags from my local landscaping center a decade ago. We use them to buy landscaping materials loose (rocks, dirt, mulch, etc) from a garden center. We also use them to pick up litter as a reusable alternative to trash bags.
